Het Olympisch curlingseizoen is begonnen. De Nederlandse Curling Bond heeft Lisenka Bomas
en Wouter Gösgens geselecteerd als Nederlands team voor het Olympisch kwalificatietoernooi (OKT) voor mixed doubles curling 2025.
Dit OKT vindt plaats in Kelowna (Canada) van 13 tot en met 19 december 2025. Tijdens dit toernooi zullen de laatste 2 plaatsen voor de Olympische Spelen 2026 in Milaan-Cortina (Italië) worden toegewezen.
Het mixed doubles curlingtoernooi op de Olympische Winterspelen vindt plaats van 4 t/m 10 februari 2026. Naast gastland en regerend Olympisch kampioen Italië hebben Estland, Zweden, Groot-Brittannië (via Schotland), Noorwegen, Canada, Zwitserland en de Verenigde Staten zich al geplaatst. Voor mixed doubles curling vindt geen pre-OKT plaats.
The exciting Olympic season has arrived. The Dutch Curling Association (Nederlandse Curling Bond, NCB) is proud to announce the selection of Lisenka Bomas and Wouter Gösgens as our TeamNL team representing the Netherlands at the Mixed Doubles Olympic Qualification Event (OQE) 2025.
This OQE will be hosted in Kelowna, BC, Canada, December 13 t/m 19. This event will determine that last 2 available spots for the Olympic Winter Games 2026.
The Mixed Doubles Curling Event at the Winter Olympic Games will be held February 4 – 10, 2026 in Cortina, Italy.
Besides host and reigning Olympic Champions Italy the following National Olympic Committees of Estonia, Sweden, Great Britain (Scotland), Norway, Canada, Switzerland and the United States of America have already qualified.
